For years people have been using swear words which can be insulting, rude, vulgar or disrespectful to others and if consistently used over a period of time can make lives for the afflicted a misery. Sometimes swear words can be classed as blasphemous by religious people, that is, when people use the lord's name in vain, etc. Swearing can also be racist, which could lead to criminal convictions. Adults should avoid swearing in front of children!
Yet people still swear. Why?
