I agree that most of us sometimes get the sudden urge to break something down such as lego as you said or sandcastles. I feel that vandalism is always a criminal act and should rarely be classified as just being bad. You have given several reasons as to why people commit vandalism, but another one could be due to people being drunk or under the influence of drugs. Finally lack of upbringing of young children may also lead to vandalism.
