I think that your blog on swearing is very interesting and factual. You make good points about the people that swear every other word being 'normal' as it isnt funny or shocking anymore.
Swear words will indeed change throughout time like you said humourously with door meaning a complete idiot. Swearing can be used in humour and at the same time also be very rude which you have spoken about.
