Stalking

Stalking can be defined as "behaviour whereby a person inflicts repeatedly and persistently unwanted intrusions and communications on another". It may also take the form of harassment. Intrusions include following a person and making approaches by letters, telephone, texts, gifts, etc.

Stalking can cause extreme feeling of anxiety or fear to the person affected. Further, it can be very stressful for a family as a whole.

If a person feels that it is subjected to "stalking" the first step should be to get in touch with the police for help.
